Taking a pregnancy test the digital way is what the latest Pregnancy PRO App offers as it was unveiled during the Consumer Electronics Show 2015. Aside from determining whether the woman is pregnant, the new app also allows users to store personal data.

AS reported by USA Today, the Church & Dwight's First Response Pregnancy Pro Digital Test & App was unveiled during the recent CES event. It claims to be the first digital Bluetooth pregnancy test and aims to calm women and provide personalized experience.

The new test kit connects via Bluetooth to the user's Android and iPhone device. It also informs them immediately if the device is working properly. According to Latin Post, a woman who wishes to take the pregnancy test must download the FIrst Response app first.

The pregnancy stick must then be removed from its foil. A drop must then be placed in its provided space and then activate the Bluetooth and make sure that it is connected well to the phone where the next steps will then be provided.

While waiting for the result, users can choose to tap the Entertain Me, Educate Me, and Calm Me options. By choosing the Entertain Me option, the user will offer to watch Buzzfeed videos. For the Educate Me, it will provide with fertility information while the Calm Me option allows users to listen to meditation music provided with breathing techniques and peaceful videos.

According to Mashable, the Pregnancy PRO app users can also keep track of their ovulation cycles and fertile periods through the application. Users can also provide their personal information which will help the application and determine their fertile days.

Users also don't have to worry about their personal information getting leaked as First Response Group Brand Manager Wendy Bishop said that any information provided prior to the test will be stored on the user's phone. The First Response Pregnancy Pro stick is expected to be made available in Spring with suggested retail price between $14.99 and $21.99.
