The action-packed role playing game Hellblade has stayed as a rather peculiar game to many as of late. Though the title is still to reveal more about itself, the important matter of the game's release date has finally been clarified by developer Ninja Theory-which may no longer be as far of a wait as it should be.
As per Latin Post, the mind boggling Hellblade has stayed under the radar for quite a while, that is until developer Ninja Theory, the same minds responsible for games such as Heavenly Sword, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West and DmC: Devil May Cry that the game will indeed release this year. Moreover, they became more specific on which platforms will actually get the title soon.
According to Destructoid, some rumors of the game's release date spread that Hellblade was about to be delayed all the way to 2017 but the development team clarified that the title will indeed launch this year. Going into details, Ninja Theory declared that they plan to launch Hellblade's PlayStation 4 and PC versions at the same time.
Gear Nuke noted that the Creative Chief of Ninja Theory Tameem Antoniades stated his opinion on the matter of which platform will be the better card.
He was quoted,"I think PC offers us a level of freedom that we haven't had before. We're looking at everything we do on this project and figuring out better ways of doing things compared to how the traditional AAA console model works. And consoles are following suit with PC, but I think they're years behind what things like Steam are doing."
Hellblade lets players into the mind of Senu, which the plot presents as an underworld that is created out of a mental illness. In general, fans will be taking on a ninja-style combat gameplay that deals with diverse stories. The independent AAA game still does not have a fixed release date but is affirmative of launching within the year.
