Rick Deckard's character is one of the most mysterious characters in the history of films. Many people don't really know if he is a human or just a replica. While "Blade Runner2" will have its new director Denis Villeneuve, the film will start its shooting this summer with new characters.

It's a known fact that Ridley Scott did amazing on the first movie, "Blade Runner". However, he is not the director of the movie anymore as he is going to be busy with his "Aliens" movies as Slash Film stated. Good thing, the movie will have another brilliant director to do it. Denis Villeneuve known for his film "Sicario" will direct "Blade Runner 2". The director gave a hint as to how he will answer the ultimate question during an interview in Toronto International Film Festival.

Talks about Harrison Ford's character are still there. It will probably won't vanish, at least not until "Blade Runner 2" will be shown and Villenueve will clarify all things according to Cinema Blend. In an interview, the director did not straight up answer the question but gave subtle hints like he loves mystery, doubts, and shadows and that he will take care of it.

While that will be taken care of, Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson, producers of "Blade Runner 2" talked about the reality and difficulty of the movie. They said the movie is very complex and that it is hard to explain. They said in an interview in Den of Geek, "Blade Runner" is a different world and it will be the same with the second one but with its own taste.

While Harrison Ford will still play Rick Deckard, new characters will be added. Ryan Gosling confirmed that he will be in the movie. No definite date of release yet but sources say it will most likely be on theaters in 2017.

Will the fans really know the answer to the question? Is it really important to know the answer?
