Google is giving their eyeglasses another go with Google Glass 2.0 as indicated in the US Federal Communications Commission website. However, unlike its previous versions, the new device is expected to be less intrusive and targeted at a different market.

As reported Cnet, the US Federal Communications Commission recently posted about the new device in their website indicating a new direction for the company's wearable edition. The device has a model name GG1 and will feature a larger prism, sturdier design, and a more advanced Intel Atom processor.

Furthermore, it will also alter its design to make it less intrusive. According to Design & Trend, Google Glass users were banned in several establishment for fear that the user is secretly filming the area. Thus, adjusting their design, Google will put a light on the device for when it is in use.

"With the first version of Glass, users were shunned and mocked to the point that owners stopped wearings them", Analyst Patrick Moorhead said. "Google learned the hard way that users don't want anonymous videos or photos taken of them and therefore on the new version, they added a light when the camera is in use.", he added.

Federal Communications Commission also indicated that they settled the power button on the back of the headset, and according to Ahmedabad Mirror, the device will now be foldable with the hinge installed to it.Google filed for patent at the FCC and specified the internal photos, test reports, test set-up photos, a user manual and data on radio frequency absorption of the device.

With its release in the market, Google is not aiming to sell the product to regular customers, but rather to businesses that would need such device. While no official details have been revealed by the company about the Google Glass 2.0, it is speculated to be more advanced than its predecessor but could also be pricier.
