'Kill Bill Vol. 3' is a planned martial arts film intended as the third installment in the 'Kill Bill' series. Director Quentin Tarantino hinted at the possibility of the sequel that may feature the return of Uma Thurman in the lead role as The Bride.

According to IGN, Tarantino hinted at the chances his third installment in the martial arts series starring Uma Thurman will come into fruition. He said during an interview with What the Flick?, "There definitely is a possibility. Stop short of seeing a probability... I put the character of Beatrix Kiddo through a lot, and so I wanted her to have this much time for peace... The whole idea [behind waiting so long between films] was everybody would be as old as they are."

Another article by National Post revealed that Quentin and Thurman had been discussing the possibilities of 'Kill Bill Vol. 3' for a while now. The 52-year old filmmaker admitted, "I am talking to Uma about it just a little bit. Some of the stuff that I'd written that never made it into the movie that maybe I could use." He previously said that he was done with the series but his recent comments revealed otherwise.

Thurman played the role of Beatrix "Black Mamba" Kiddo a.k.a. The Bride in Tarantino's two-part films released in 2003 and 2004, respectively. Black Mamba is regarded as the series' main protagonist and an ex-member of the fictional Deadly Viper Assassination Squad led by Bill. According to Moviepilot, she was introduced as a character steaming with vengeance over the death of her then-groom who was murdered during their marriage ceremony rehearsal.

'Kill Bill Vol. 1' earned $331 million against a $60 million budget while 'Kill Bill Vol. 2' raked in $152 million against a $30 million budget. The films were originally scheduled for a single cinematic release but Tarantino thought it best to cut it in two parts since it ran well over four hours.

'Kill Bill Vol. 3' is a planned third installment in the 'Kill Bill' series created and directed by Quentin Tarantino. The preceding films starred Thurman, Lucy Liu, Daryl Hannah, David Carradine, Shun Sugata, Goro Daimon, Akaji Maro, Michael Madsen, James Parks, Chiaki Kuriyama and Vivica A. Fox among others. The two films earned generally positive reviews from critics and audiences alike.
