'Longmire' Season 5: Walt, Donna romance continues; Walt's intruder to be revealed

By

In the "Longmire" Season 4 finale, someone broke into Walt's home and interrupted his romantic moment with Dr. Monahan. The identity of the intruder was not revealed and has been the subject of endless speculations for the show's fans in its long hiatus. Another thing that keeps the fans excited about "Longmire" Season 5 is how Walt and Donna Sue continue with their romance after the rather rude interruption.

One of the most popular persons fans think is the most likely to be the intruder is Walker Browning reports Gospel Herald. This is because it was revealed in the finale that he was no longer in his hospital bed. He also has the motivation to do it because Walt ruined his plans but how he found out where Walt lives and how he escaped from his hospital bed make his being the intruder slightly improbable.

According to Christian Today, another suspect could be Jacob Nighthorse because he and Walt have always been in conflict. However, this may not be the strongest motive to make him want to kill the Sheriff since their quarrels have always been somewhat petty. Same goes for the other names being brought up such as Monte, Zachary and Sam Poteet.

Another possibility though is that it was actually Donna Sue who was the target and not Walt because of a theory that the person who burned the van could also be the intruder in Walt's home. There may even be the possibility that a new character from Walt's past will be brought in as the real culprit. That only makes the list of suspects and possibilities endless and makes "Longmire" Season 5 exciting.

After Netflix announced the "Longmire" Season 5 renewal, it was further revealed that the episodes will now be around an hour long to allow for a more cinematic narrative and focus on other characters reports Ecumenical News. There are even talks going around about crossover episodes with Criminal Minds. This is plausible since the two series have a similar storyline and based on the same principle.

Meanwhile, fans will have to wait for the "Longmire" Season 5 release by Netflix to find out who broke into Walt's house. Who do you think it was? Share us your thoughts in the section below.
