Nintendo's Super Mario Maker has made itself known to the all-time followers of the Mario franchise with its continuous adorable themes. This 2016, another update was bestowed upon the fans with conviction, and it is one that offers appreciation and tribute to a multi-national corporation.
According to Geek, the cuteness and creativity moves up one level higher with Super Mario Maker's latest addition, a full course entitled the Southwest Air Adventure. The name may be a wonder to some, but the simplest explanation to it is that the level is based off the popular Southwest Airlines, a rather popular low-cost carrier label.
Delivered by Game Spot, the initial theme of the course involves a variety of obstacles, such as the famous Southwest heart logo which is comprised mainly of Mario Coins. In the level, gamers are given the chance to unlock a Sky Pop costume simply by tracing a Mystery Mushroom.
For those unaware, the particular Sky Pop vehicle was first spotted in 1989's Super Mario Land, and as soon as the players are able to unlock the said costume, it can be used further for the rest of the Super Mario Maker levels as they please.
Noted by Tech Times, the particular tie-in by the company is not actually the first time, given that other high end companies have also presented their own share of personalized themes, such as Facebook and Mercedes Benz. As for Southwest Airlines, it was Nintendo themselves that requested the company to create a theme of their own, whereas for the others, it was uncertain if they did the said actions on their own or whether they were also asked to do so.
Super Mario Maker's new theme is the latest in over 3.3 million courses that players of the title have uploaded. Keep posted for more updates on Nintendo's level builder game.
