Samsung is expected to their own high-end tablet and laptop hybrid dubbed as the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S. The new tablet is expected to compete against the latest tablets in the market with its latest specifications.
As reported by Digital Trends, the new device is a 12-inch tablet which comes with its own magnetic keyboard. Its screen has AMOLED display with 2,260x1,440 pixels resolution. It is a Galaxy device, however, it runs in Windows 10 OS which is different from the Google Android featured in other devices.
It has powerhouse features under the hood with its 8GB RAM, and 128GB/256GB internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S has CAT.6 LTE chip and an Intel Core M Processor. It also boasts its 10.5 hours of battery life.
Furthermore, as reported by Engadget, the device's design is also something to look out for with its 6.3mm thickness. Although it might be unusual to take outdoor selfies with its size, it houses 5MP front facing and rear cameras.
It will also be made available with a USB Type-C port that can recharge its . Like a laptop, the new tablet also allows users to complete simple laptop tasks such as word processing, excel, image editing and light gaming.
Its Windows 10 OS's NFC tag also allows users to unlock the gadget through their compatible Samsung mobiles by placing the mobile near a spot on the left of the trackpad and use their handsets' fingerprint scanner to unlock the device which is also a safer way to unlock the device.
As reported by GSM Arena, aside from its magnetic keyboard which comes for free with the tablet, optional Bluetooth Pen and multi-purpose adapter with connectors for HDMI, regular USB, and USB Type-C ports are also available.
The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S weighs 693g and is expected to be available in Wi-Fi and LTE variants. It is expected to hit market shelves sometime in February, however, details about its price have not been unveiled as of yet.
