XCOM 2 PC Requirements Unveiled; Reinforcement DLC Packs for Title Detailed

Firaxis' XCOM 2 is almost at hand,and as it approaches, fans are given ample time to prepare for the said second title. Moreover, updates are promised for the upcoming expansion and because of such, no one knows just how well the title will fare for the year.

According to PC Gamer, it was recently announced that the system requirements for the PC were released by Firaxis themselves. For those that want to make the game work on its simplest form, they must have for the OS: Windows 7, 64-bit, the processor, an Intel Core 2 Duo E4700 2.6 GHz or AMD Phenom 9950 Quad Core 2.6 GHz and adequate memory of 4 GB RAM. For the graphics, gamers should have a 1GB ATI Radeon HD 5770, 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 or up, as well as DirectX Version 11, and available space of at least 45 GB. Lastly, a DirectX compatible sound card.

Delivered by Latin Post, optimizing the full capacity of the title will require specs of a higher caliber. These include, for the OS: Windows 7, 64-bit, for the Processor: 3GHz Quad Core and memory of at least 8GB RAM. Moreover, the graphics should have 2GB ATI Radeon HD 7970, 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 or of a better standard, available storage of 45GB available space and similarly, a DirectX compatible sound card.

XCOM 2, as reported by The Guardian, will be rigged with the Reinforcement Pack containing said features Anarchy's Children, Alien Hunters, Shen's Last Gift. Anarchy's Children and Shen's Last Gift will be made available by Spring 2016 whereas Alien Hunters to take place in Summer 2016. The Reinforcement Pack can be purchased separately for $20, and the Digital Deluxe Edition promises to have fans save about $5.

As per 2K Games, gamers who are to pre-purchase XCOM 2 or the Digital Deluxe Edition will receive the Resistance Warrior Pack comprised of a soldier modification options like outfits, headgear, facial war paint and a new recruit character dubbed the Survivor of the Old War. The title will be made available for the PC come this February 5th, and so far, no news for current gen consoles has been disclosed yet.
