According to a report from Billboard, Miranda Lambert entered the New Year confirming she is dating R&B singer Anderson East. The couple first sparked dating rumours a couple of months ago, however it wasn't until just a few days ago that the two singers shared their relationship with the world.
East, whose real name is Michael Cameron Anderson, and is 27-years -old, posted the same picture as Lamert did on instagram with the simple caption 'The snuggle is real,' as reported by Country Weekly. Apparently the two singers had been spotted a few times at various concerts and will also be starring together as singers in an upcoming roots music compilation called Southern Family.
Though the instagram post may confirm that the newest Hollywood couple are dating, a report from the New York Daily Times states that the celebrities are simple having fun and seeing where things go. A source also added to the tabloid that East is the complete opposite of Miranda's ex husband, Blake Shelton.
Miranda's newest relationship comes after her divorce to fellow country singer Blake Shelton whom she was married to for four years. The country couple announced their divorce mid 2015, around rumours that Miranda allegedly cheated on her former husband.
Though it may be early days for Miranda Lambert and Anderson East, both singers are hoping that their relationship will be one that lasts. At the moment Anderson is busy touring behind his 2015 debut album 'Delilah,' while Miranda is keeping herself busy with various projects.
