By

Corsair brings good news this new year especially for gamers. The company has announced three new mid-tower Carbide Series cases including Spec-Alpha, Carbide 400Q and 400C. Of course all three have their own unique features but all are guaranteed to give user the best experience.

The Spec-Alpha is the all new modernized addition to the carbide series boasting its sleek design. It has an angular built and a windowed side panel. The Spec-Alpha includes feet which allow airflow uder the case and can also allow users to install fans which can directly blow onto the CPU socket. Aside from this external cooling, this case can accommodate a front 240-mm radiator and it also includes three 120-mm fans. The Spec-Alpha will be available in March this year. The case comes in red or black colors and will reportedly have an MSRP of $79.99.

As for people who have minimalist preference when it comes to cases, Corsair introduces the Carbide 400Q and 400C. Both are mid-tower cases and have an all-steel exterior. These cases are top-notch when it comes to durability and stunning looks. Moreover, Corsair has made it possible to let these compact cases house a full ATX motherboard and multiple GPUs. These cases come with a 140-mm and a 120-mm fan and can purportedly use a variety of liquid-cooling radiators. Moreover, Carbide 400Q and 400C provide a more efficient airflow path by removing drive cages behind the intake fans. Thus allowing the hottest components, CPU AND GPU, have more breathing space. Techinically, Carbide 400Q and 400C have almost the same components but buyers have the option to choose between acoustics and aesthetics. The 400C comes with a large side-panel window that makes every part of the build visible while 400Q is lined with sound damping material that assures a quiet operation. Reportedly, both cases are now available at Corsair's website for $99.99 each.
