Samsung's latest handset offering, the Galaxy A9 2016 is recently unveiled in China late in December and revealed to include the latest features. It has also recently hit the stores as a Chinese website revealed its specs and price.

As reported by Gadgets 360, the phablet is currently available at a high CNY 3,199, price believed to be because of its sophisticated metal frame and glass body design. Its design also resembles the high-end Galaxy devices offered by the South Korean firm.

The new phablet was first introduced in an event in China last December and has already hit market shelves. Aside from its release in Asia, GMS Arena reported that the new handset is also expected to be launched in the US as it has already fixed its issues with the FCC.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 carries a sleek design with its 6-inch screen with 1080 Super AMOLED Display and 0.29 inches of thinness. Although it is currently not the thinnest among the Samsung devices, Christian Today reported that it carries some of the most updated specs for a handset device.

It has a massive 4000mAh battery which is larger than the X7's 3,300mAh. It houses an Octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor and comes with a 3GB of RAM. It also has 32GB of internal storage which can further be expanded through a micro-SD up to 128GB.

It will also be released with high quality cameras, with its rear camera's 13 MP, as well as its 8MP front-racing shooter, perfect for selfies and group photos. It also carries the latest security feature, the finger print scanner as well as Google Play Support.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 is expected to be released in different color variants, however, its official set of colors have not been confirmed yet as some suggest it will be released in silver, pink, and gold, while other suggest it will be available in colors of Midnight Black, Champagne Gold, and Pearl White.
