WWE 2K16 Gets New Standalone DLC for $4.99; Legends Pack Adds 6 Wrestling Playable Icons

2K Sports continues to expand the large roster of well-received WWE 2K16 with the latest release of the title's Legends Pack which comes with 6 Wrestling playable icons. Also, gamers can now add Arnold Schwarzenegger's 'The Terminator' to the growing list of characters as a standalone DLC.

Via an official post on its website a few days before Christmas, 2K confirmed that The Terminator Pack is now being offered as a standalone DLC for WWE 2K16 at a price of $4.99 across PlayStation and Xbox consoles. The Terminator Pack contains two playable versions of The Terminator as seen in two movies. First is the T-800 from The Terminator and second is the T-800 version from Terminator 2: Judgment Day. It is also noted that each of the two T-800s has a unique set of costumes.

Christian Post reports that Schwarzenegger is among the WWE Hall of Famers, although, other Hall of Famers can played via the game's 2015 Hall of Fame Showcase which is available in the game's Season Pass. This pack features Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Rikishi, Alundra Blayze, Paige and many others, all of them appeared in seven matches.

Schwarzenegger is one of the highly respected and seasoned actors who became very popular in The Terminator movie series and is set to return in the upcoming The Terminator Genysis sequels.

On the other hand, the WWE 2K16 Legends Pack was also made available for the Wrestling fans simultaneously. It adds six playable WWE iconic superstars namely, Big Boss Man, Dusty Rhodes, Lita, Mr. Perfect, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, and Trish Stratus.

Published by 2K Sports, WWE 2K16 is the latest iteration to the WWE 2K series released in October for Xbox One, PS4, PS3, and Xbox 360 consoles. A PC version is reportedly underway and set to be launched soon.
