By

Halo 5: Guardians has indeed garnered a massive amount of success for the past number of months since it was released. Now that 2016 has arrived, the past expansions of the game is expecting another plethora of updates to befall, for the most valid reasons.

As noted by Game Rant, the recently reported Halo 5: Guardians downloadable content, namely Cartographer's Gift, went live for the fans just a few weeks ago. The said update was more notable on giving players the chance to adjust their controller options, making it utterly customizable at an advanced level. The January update, as 343 Industries states, offers more in the field of gameplay and hardware.

Delivered by Christian Post, the January downloadable content update still has not been discussed thoroughly, but for now, screenshots of some possible additions have been spotted online. As far as players have seen, most of these are newly dressed weapons, such as a rifle with a bald eagle skin, a pistol with a howling wolf emblem and new duds for both the Red and Blue teams. REQ packs, weapons, modes and maps are also expected to come soon, but 343 Industries still has not finalized anything for such.

Delivered by Gaming Bolt, one more attribute that fans should look forward to would be the daily rewards that gamers are to receive upon achieving victory within the multiplayer modes. Simply put, fans are to be treated with rewards for continuously playing. With it, as a form perhaps of making players more dedicated to the shooter, promises of new cosmetics, skins, vehicles and weapons may be received as a form of incentive to those that spend ample time in playing Halo 5: Guardians.

The January DLC update for Halo 5: Guardians is still not completely disclosed by 343 Industries, but for now, fans can expect only the best in the coming months. Keep posted for more updates on the hit fifth installment of the long-running first-person shooter.
