Final Fantasy VII Remake Makes Fans Anxious of Multi-Part Approach; Is the Move Wise for Square Enix?

By

The Final Fantasy VII Remake has finally been exposed to the world, as it has been anticipated for the longest time. Though as good as the game may be, fans are not as pleased with the latest news announced by Square Enix.

Reported by PC Gamer, the Final Fantasy VII Remake has been talked about by many, and with such attributes like a fully focused vocal acting, gamers cannot go wrong that there is, indeed, something to look forward to. However, Square Enix's plans may be a little too misinterpreted, especially after announcing what the upcoming title is up to.

According to Segment Next, Square Enix declared that the said Final Fantasy VII Remake will come not as one massive gaming copy, but in multiple episodes. It is not something that has been done before, but all gamers are rendered disappointed over the idea since the game itself functions around a fluid continuity. With games such as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt or Telltale games such as The Walking Dead and Jurassic Park The Game, it can be considered, but not for such an interactive game like the Final Fantasy VII Remake.

iDigital Times noted that Final Fantasy VII's Remake may not be a Sony-exclusive title, and may go over other platforms such as the PC and Xbox One. The action of Square Enix may prove to be beneficial to the gamers entirely as it can be found in more than just the conventional PlayStation hardware. These are still to be confirmed and with it, the possibilities could be more than what was bargained for.

Final Fantasy VII's Remake is yet to receive a release date, but as far as Square Enix is concerned, the target date of the particular expansion is sometime within 2017. The team says that once the other games that Square Enix has lined up, they will look into the immediate release of the particular game.
