Android 6.0 Marshmallow update has now been confirmed rolling out to 14 models of Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+. Marshmallow is expected to carry innovative features in battery management, user interface, connection and more this quarter.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ is set to receive Google's official Android 6.0 Marshmallow software as early as January 2016. Being the biggest Android update in history, Marshmallow will be integrated in Samsung's very own operating system and user interface TouchWiz for users to enjoy a full swing improvement in overall system.
As of the moment, the smartphone is currently in development stage for Android 6.0 Marshmallow. In this stage, the Galaxy S6+ handsets are in the process of being evaluated for the software. If this successfully done, testing will follow. This stage usually lasts for two weeks. If Samsung is kind enough, it might be releasing the official update before at the end of January.
However, users under mobile carriers must take note that roll out of the said update to their device may vary depending on the discretion of the telecom company.
