HTC made THE premium mid-range smartphone called the One X9 available in Chinese market at a starting price of 2399 Yuan.
According to Day Herald, the HTC One X9 just hit the Chinese market this month sporting a metallic unibody design with the measurements of 153.9 x 75.9 x 8 mm and a weight of 170g or 6.00 oz. As a whole, the handset have a sleek finish that comfortably fits in a single hand. It features a 5.5-inch screen with 1080p Full HD display and a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels with a pixel density of 401ppi.
Under the HTC One X9's chassis is a powerful 64 bit MediaTek Helio MT6795T X10 chipset with a 2.2 GHz Octa-core CPU. The Octa-core processor is coupled with 3GB of RAM and a PowerVR G6200 GPU.
TNH Online reported that with HTC One X9 users will also enjoy the selfies in low-light conditions with the UltraPixel snapper it comes with on the front. At the back is a 13MP camera that is built with OIS and can capture 4K videos and it also supports RAW image capturing.
HTC also built a similarly powerful 3,000mAh battery unit that the company stated to last up to 15 hours of voice calls over 3G, 10 hours of HD video playback as well as 40 hours of nonstop music playback. The HTC One X9 also supports quick charging technology/.
Android Authority added that just like other high-end HTC handsets, the One X9 has great BoomSound speakers on the front side which when paired with Dolby Audio, makes for an immersive audio experience. Additionally, the speaker holes are effectively water- and dust-proof.
Apart from that, the handset is also capable of powering professional hi-fi headphones. This is due to the built-in amp that can drive power output of up to 0.98V. Above all these, the best part about the One X9 is its price, which is 2399 Yuan in China, or roughly $370.
The HTC One X9 is currently a Chinese exclusive but it is unlikely for HTC to introduce the device to other markets with the same aggressive price point just like in China.
