The Elder Scrolls 6 Rumors: Bethesda's proposed title still a few years away?

By

As The Elder Scrolls 6 idea is still one that Bethesda has not spoken much about, gamers are still keeping their hopes up on the possibility of it ever surfacing. That being said, the search continues for the possible continuity of The Elder Scrolls series, or better yet, the desired Skyrim 2.

According to Vine Report, Bethesda has been under the radar when it comes to news regarding The Elder Scrolls 6 even after the undisputed triumph of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Up to this day, the fifth title is considerably one of the best titles of all time and because of it, gamers feel that Bethesda will keep the flame on with another chart-topping title.

Bethesda claims that if ever a continuity will come at hand, it may take a few more years at the least. As per MNR Daily, they stated that not only will the game be far from happening but the earliest bit of news that could back up the claims might come in another year or perhaps three. In the past, Bethesda raised the fact that they do not plan to release games too often as it loses the value of the title and the interest of the fans if they expect something to come annually.

Master Herald reports that the reason behind the cancellation or disregarding of the development of an Elder Scrolls 6 or Skyrim 2 is the focus of Bethesda on a different project which as of the moment is still unnamed. In relation to that, the whole team of Bethesda discourages fans to believe any news for the time being that talks about future plans unless it comes from the developers themselves.

The existing Elder Scrolls Online has received a downloadable content update, aptly named the Orsinium DLC. For now, any news regarding The Elder Scrolls 6 can only be taken as a grain of salt up until Bethesda discloses more information.
