Total War: Warhammer rundown of Greenskins detailed; April 2016 release date fixed

Total War: Warhammer has continuously given fans of the series hints and pointers of what they are to acquire from the game as it comes out-and now that there are those who are aware of what will be part of it, another roster of formidable entities will make their presence felt.

As reported by Softpedia, Creative Assembly and SEGA has recently showed the world the makings of the upcoming role-playing marvel, Total War: Warhammer. A number of races have been introduced in the past, and as some players may agree, the Greenskins can be as devastating to other races as they sound.

Reported by PC GamesN, the Greenskins are basically led by two powerful legendary heroes, one being Grimgor Ironhide which is more recognized for his undisputable strength and brutality. The other being Azhag the Slaughterer which is known to be more equipped in his methods of the dark arts.

Other entities that can be controlled while playing as the Greenskins include shaman which consumes fungi to amplify their powers, the Arachnarok spider in which goblins can mount themselves to in order to make a deadly combo, giants which can be recruited to aid in destruction, as well as the ever popular orcs and goblins.

As delivered by BBC, giant wolves, a powerful wyvern called Skullmuncha, war boats, classic orc boyz, spider riders and chariots can also be noted as part of the Greenskin movement.

Creative Assembly was quoted on their statement about the strengths of the Greenskins, and said, "When word spreads of a truly mighty Warboss, however, momentum builds quickly. With each successive victory, more and more Greenskin mobs join the horde. Eventually, these patchwork armies merge to become a WAAAGH! - An unstoppable Green tide that leaves nothing but ruin in its wake."

Total War: Warhammer is scheduled to hit the shelves on April 28, 2016. That being said, fans have a little more allowance to prepare themselves for the open-world war that is bound to come in a few months' time.
