The ever-adorable Super Mario Maker has been keeping things as updated as possible since it was released, and now that the year is about to enter a whole new terrain, more new additions are ready to hit the shelves before 2015 is up.

According to I Digital Times, considered as one of the game-changers of 2015, Super Mario Maker has stood alongside some other titles that offer scares and action, and it has not fallen behind. With the last update presenting bookmarks and new building material, the Nintendo expansion is now ready to go over another batch of updates that will surely hit the gamers' fancy.

Reported by Game Rant, Super Mario Maker has recently launched the updates, starting with Captain Toad. The enthusiastic explorer was officially declared by Nintendo of Europe to have been made available since Christmas. Now that the year is ending, other new costumes are ready to graze the fans, namely Birdo and Excitebike. The two will not only be costumes for the game but will also have custom Super Mario Stages.

As noted by Destructoid, the newly launched costumes are not only awesome for the fans to get a hold of but they also need not to have amiibo to unlock these updates. As games of the current generation rely mostly on downloadable contents to further enhance the experience, Nintendo has certainly put a lot of effort in making Super Mario Maker another top contender from the ever-recognized company. For the time being, Super Smash Bros. 4 is taking a lot of pride for the gamers that do crave for continuous downloadable content updates and Super Smash Bros. 4 is not at all far from it.

Super Mario Maker has been made exclusive for the Wii U, and as the year comes to a closure and a new one is at hand, expansions and patches are certainly part of it. Keep posted for more updates on Super Mario Maker and Nintendo's best-selling titles.
