Dark Souls 3 is still quite a number of months away, but as early as now, a heads up of what is to come for the title has been laid out. This ranges from the system's requirements, going all the way to the announcement of the game being the final of the series.
According to Game Rant, Dark Souls 3 is yet to surface, but Bandai Namco and From Software already vaguely answered one question that many have wondered. Will there be more to the series than the upcoming expansion?
Simply put, From Software President Hidetaki Miyazaki stated that Dark Souls 3 will be the last that they are to work on the Dark Souls franchise. This pushes the team more to make the title a masterpiece as promised, with more challenges and trials to look forward to.
As for the system requirements, as reported by Movie Pilot, a new leak was seen online that enumerated what gamers should have at the least. Such would include an OS: Windows 7 SP1 64bit, Windows 8.1 64bit Windows 10 64bit, Processor: AMD A8 3870 3.6 Ghz or Intel Core i3 2100 3.1Ghz, memory of 8 GB RAM, as well as graphics of Nvidia GeForce GTX 465 / ATI Radeon HD 6870. Players should also have DirectX Version 11, a stable Network with Broadband Internet connection free storage of 50 GB available space and a Sound Card DirectX 11 sound device.
Christian Post reported that despite the minimum prerequisites of the game as mentioned, opting for better than the recommended stats will of course, optimize the experience. As of the moment, Dark Souls 3, as per From Software, is still not entirely complete and the time before its launch will offer more time to perfect what is needed.
Dark Souls 3 is expected to hit the public sometime within 2016. Sadly, for fans of the ever-coveted series, this could be the last time that it will, indeed, be seen or heard of.
