Miss Universe 2015 First Runner-Up Miss Colombia recently received a letter sent to her by none other than the boss of Vivid Entertainment, Steve Hirsch. In the letter, Hirsch offered Ariadna Gutierrez $1,000,000 to do a porn tape. According to the letter, this would be a great opportunity for Gutierrez to increase her fame and even fill her bank account.
Apart from the money offered, Hirsch offered Miss Colombia the opportunity to choose her own partner (or partners) in the porn flick. This is an opportunity not given to other adult film actors unless they have already made a name for themselves in the industry. Gutierrez will also be wearing a specially fabricated crown that would be grander than anything the current Miss Universe winner will ever wear.
Hirsch compared the embarrassing incident with Gutierrez to that of Vanessa Williams, the winner of the 1984 Miss America pageant who was later stripped of her crown since her old nude photos were published on Penthouse magazine. Despite this, Williams had transitioned her career into acting, singing, and being an author. Williams had also admitted that this issue with Penthouse had helped instead of hurt her career. Other than Williams, Hirsch pointed out the successful careers of Kendra Wilkinson and Pamela Anderson who had chosen to make sex tapes.
Gutierrez was crowned as the winner of the prestigious contest for just a few minutes before the host, Steve Harvey, stepped out to apologize for his mistake. Harvey accidentally awarded Gutierrez as the winner of the contest instead of Miss Philippines' candidate, Pia Wurtzbach. In a separate interview, Gutierrez shared that she felt humiliated over what had happened during the coronation of the Miss Universe pageant.
As of this writing, there is still no word whether or not Gutierrez has accepted the offer.
