Miss Universe 2015 Update: Miss Colombia to sue Steve Harvey for 5M USD? Miss Germany apologizes to Miss Philippines

By

Miss Universe 2015 is arguably the most dramatic world pageant that has occurred in a very long while. After the plot twist that pageant host Steve Harvey made of taking the crown back off Miss Colombia's head and clearing out that it actually belongs to Miss Philippines, Ariadna Gutierrez who is deemed the shortest in duration Miss Universe holder of four minutes plans to sue Harvey for 5 million US Dollars for his error.

"That mistake has put distress in my life, and I don't think I'm ever going to be the same person again," cries Miss Colombia after the mishap has allegedly brought embarrassment to both her and her country.

The Family Feud comedian then responded reiterating his previous statement. "This was a terribly honest human mistake, and I am so regretful. As a human we do make mistakes, and I think she should get over it," quotes Harvey. He even welcomed her to do what she feels is right to raise her self-esteem back up saying, "She has the right to file a law suit against me, but I strongly believe she won't come out victorious."

The Colombian government has expressed their solidarity and full support for Miss Colombia as the rightful Miss Universe 2015 and even cited the pictures of her with the crown on her head as a proof of evidence.

Meanwhile, Miss Germany who lashed out right after the pageant coronation relayed her apology to Miss Philippines. She previously conveyed her disbelief in the result commenting, "I really couldn't believe it. I was so upset. I was very happy for Colombia actually she really deserved it and I'm really not happy with the result and neither are the other girls."

"None of us [the other contestants] voted for the Philippines... I'm really not happy with the result," she says crudely representing all the other contestants to nullify Miss Philippines' win.

After being criticized for the behavior she demonstrated as a reaction to judges' decision, Miss Germany's official Facebook account released a statement that was later then made unavailable for the public.

Nevertheless, the post says, "She never intended to offend Miss Philippines in any way... She is really sorry if the video suggests anything else than that. It's an emotional roller coaster... She and all the other girls felt so sorry for Colombia at that moment... That's not the final result moment what you wish for anyone. And also for Pia.

Sarah-Lorraine is very happy a half German girl brings the crown of course a bit to Germany as well! Congratulations to our friend of Philippines for winning the crown after all. She wishes Pia all the best for this year as Miss Universe 2015, she finally acknowledges Wurtzbach's German blood who was born in Stuttgart from a German father."

The reactions of the contestants from the blunder that Harvey has committed exposed the audience, albeit short, to a glimpse of each contender's character, making many believe that Miss Philippines indeed deserves the crown.
