As Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics' Rise of the Tomb Raider is currently basking in the success of the Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions, the universal PC users are ready to get their own copy of the chart-topping title. New reports have been confirmed regarding the PC version coming very soon and fans need not to wait too long.
According to Engadget, since the release of Rise of the Tomb Raider roughly over a month ago, the game has currently plowed across the gaming world with easeand this is only for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Not all gamers actually do have access to this said hardware which is why many fans have been waiting long and hard for any bit of news regarding the PC version.
They no longer need to fret because it is finally here, a marker for the said release date for PC and possibly for the PlayStation 4 version. As delivered by Attack of the Fanboy, because of an exclusivity contract that was bestowed upon Rise of the Tomb Raider by Microsoft, fans were somewhat obliged to be patient.
Now that Crystal Dynamics has announced it, the PC version will surface sometime within January. The same cannot be said, however, for the PlayStation 4 version as it still has not changed from its designated late 2016 release period.
Asia PC Mag reported that Rise of the Tomb Raider may still be on its way to making more downloadable contents along the way while the other hardware versions are yet to spawn. The latest notable downloadable content update is named Baba Yaga: Temple of the Witch which transpires around rather mysterious terrains and comes with the weirdest adversaries.
Rise of the Tomb Raider's PC version release still does not have a solid date, but the month itself is a certainty as per Crystal Dynamics. Stay updated on Rise of the Tomb Raider and more news about the latest adventures of Lara Croft.
