Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris shuts down break up rumors on Christmas

The young lovebirds and two of the world's highest paid/earning music artists took their relationship to the next altitude, literally and figuratively, as they spent quality time together in the ski slopes of Vail, Colorado on Christmas.

According to a report from People, Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris were spotted staying in a private rental cabin with Swift's family, where they also had a fine dining experience at one of the village's restaurants.

A week ago, reports have surfaced that the two are going through a rough patch as they hardly see each other because of professional commitments. The International Business Times reports that the reason for this separation between the American singer/songwriter and the Scottish singer/DJ is Taylor Swift's "1989" world tour.

Mirror UK reported about the fun times Taylor and Calvin seemed to have in the mountains and the DJ has chosen to share it on his Instagram account. The picture shared on Christmas Eve shows Taylor Swift, wearing a crash helmet, leaning playfully on her boyfriend.

Other than that picture, Harris also posted another flaunting their creativity. It was a huge snowman that he, Taylor, and Taylor's brother Austin, have created together. He captioned it "Really proud of ourselves over here."

All of these activities could only mean the couple are getting serious with their relationship. Harris earlier admitted that their relationship is "absolutely fantastic." He gushed about Taylor saying "she's an incredible cook and human being." Earlier this month, Harris was spotted spending time with Swift's family to celebrate the songstress' 26th birthday. He is a sensational hit on Taylor's mom as well.

Taylor Swift recently ended her "1989" world tour and said she's going to take a break from music and step out of the limelight for a long while.
