Big Hero 6 is an animated film produced by Walt Disney. The film has been overwhelmingly received by the audience, children and teenagers alike. Now, fans are expecting for it to have a sequel and they can anticipate the next film entitled: Big Hero 7. So what's in for this movie?
Based on the report of Movie News Guide, rumor has it that its plot will revolve around the sibling rivalry of the lead, Hiro Hamada and his brother, Tadashi Hamada. But wait, didn't Tadashi die in Big Hero 6? Well that would be the twist of the movie's second installment. It appears so that Tadashi will survive the fire and it might be that one of the inventions in the location will save him.
Furthermore, according to Movie News Guide, Tadashi being alive is not the only shock factor. Tadashi will be able to attain a power and it will turn out he will be Sunfire. But he won't be back as the good brother of Hiro. He will be a villain and will fight against Hiro and the team. However, it has been said later in the movie, Tadashi will be joining the team; hence the title.
Aside from that, Master Herald states that fans can expect improvements to the huggable character Baymax. In an interview with the voice actor behind Baymax, Bryan Alexander, said that Hiro always aims to improve what he has created. Hinting about the probable improvements with Baymax.
However, fans may expect some change also with the characters in Big Hero 7. CrossMap reports that there are rumors that the darker persona of the characters will appear in the sequel.
Regarding the film's release date, based on Master Herald, it is most likely expected to come out between the year 2017 to 2019. This is hinted by Stan Lee, himself, in an interview where he stated that the sequel will come out after "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" but not later that the release of "Inhumans."
Sequel of the big hit Big Hero 6 is highly anticipated by the fans. It may turn out that for the sequel, Tadashi is alive and a sibling rivalry will rise between him and Hiro. However, these are all speculations for now. There are no official statements yet regarding its plot but it is set to hit the theaters between the year 2017 and 2019.
