'Better Call Saul' Season 2 filming is a wrap, all set for Feb. 15 premiere; New teaser photos released by AMC

Co-creator Peter Gould shared some details about the writing process for "Better Call Saul" Season 2 episodes. The season premiere of the show was recently nominated for Writers Guild of America Award. Also, AMC finally released some promotional photos for the upcoming season.

Co-creator Peter Gould spoke to Yahoo TV about the writing process for the episodes of "Better Call Saul" Season 2. Gould stated, "It's important that the show's writers not become too attached to any one character. I think sometimes writers get a little too easy on the characters in a funny way. If you love them too much, you may want to protect them from the consequences of their actions.

That's one thing we really try to be honest with ourselves about -- what happens if you did this or that -- and not soften the blow when it comes. So much of what happens in season 2 is wrapped up in the DNA of the decisions the characters made in season 1. That's one of the things that makes it, hopefully, feel like a united whole."

Other than that, the season premiere of "Better Call Saul" was recently nominated under three categories for Writers Guild of America Award. The "Breaking Bad" prequel series has been nominated for the Best New Series and Best Drama Series categories.

The show's creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould were both nominated for Best Episodic Drama category while series star Bob Odendirk was nominated for Best Male Actor category in SAG and Golden Globe Awards, as mentioned on BBC.

Elsewhere, AMC recently released teaser photos from the upcoming installment of the series. According to IB Times, the photos featured Jimmy McGill (Bob Odendirk) and Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks) inside an elevator.

Filming is finally finished for "Better Call Saul" Season 2. The newest season is slated to premiere on Monday, February 15, 2016 at 10:00 p.m. exclusively on AMC. "Better Call Saul" is an American TV drama series created by Peter Gould and Vince Gilligan.
