Conjuring's sequel with its subtitle 'Enfield Poltergeist' has done filming and was said to have a real life story basis. The plot teaser has already been released as well as the screening date June 10, 2016.
The Amityville, where the DeFeo family was murdered back in the 1970s will be the upfront story for the next Conjuring sequel. As the real life murder case incident happened, Ronnie DeFeo Jr. was found guilty of murdering his father, mother, two brothers and sisters in the infamous Amityville house. Although the story will be based on factual case files it will still be fictionalized in the story on the big screen says Latin Post.
Bloody Disgusting reported that some confirmed casting signified that the film will be starting off from the events that happened, which in particular was the murder of the DeFeo family. This was also before the Lutz family moved into that house and stayed for 28 days before they were forced to leave it due to the paranormal occurrences.
Moreover, actress Alexa Najera did not deny and confirmed to a fan on Twitter that he will be playing Allison DeFeo, one of the two DeFeo sisters together with Ronald DeFeo, Louise DeFeo, and the other siblings John, Mark and Dawn who were real life people and not just fictional characters in the movie says Moviepilot.
Going back to the film were the original movie director, James Wan, who does best in such movie genre, lead characters Patrick Wilson who will be reprising the role of Ed and Vera Farmiga to reprise also the role of Lorraine Warrens. Together, the two will be investigating a paranormal activity at a council house in 1970s London. The subtitle on the other hand still speaks of what the Warrens will be investigating in the movie, a single mother reporting bizarre occurrences such as demonic voices and moving of objects.
