Marvel has finally confirmed that Elektra Natchios and The Punisher will be included in "Daredevil" Season 2. However, Elektra's appearance made its creator Frank Miller upset with Netflix's adaptation. Showrunner Drew Goddard officially exits his role in the series yet he will still be involved in the writing room for the 2nd season.
Other than that, Marvel Entertainment finally confirmed that the upocming season of "Daredevil" will include Elektra Natchios and Frank Miller aka The Punisher, the said characters will be played by Elodie Yung and Jon Bernthal.
Movie Pilot has noted that The Punisher and Elektra Natchios will be included in the upcoming installment together with Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and villainous Bullseye. With that being said, Daredevil is already jam packed with a variety of heroes and villains. All of the characters are set to battle with the protagonist in the fictional Civil War.
Regarding Elektra's appearance, creator Frank Miller blurted his thoughts during a Comic Con Experience in Brazil. According to Cross Map, Frank Miller was disappointed with Netflix's adaptation of Elektra stating that she will not be the real Elektra. Miller also admitted that he has not watched even a single episode of "Daredevil" Season 1 which makes him totally clueless about what the storyline.
Meanwhile, showrunner Drew Goddard officially leaves his role for the series to work on his new project. As reported on Collider, Goddard will be focusing on writing the storyline for "Sinister Six". Despite of leaving the Marvel Comics TV series, the former showrunner revealed that he is still involved in the writing room.
The official scheduled launch for "Daredevil" Season 2 is set to premiere anytime soon in 2016 exclusively on Netflix. Marvel's "Daredevil" is an American web TV series created by Drew Goddard based on the Marvel Comics character under the same name.
