Lead actress Jennifer Morrison has revealed to Mashable about what fans should expect in her character, Emma Swan. Morrison stated, "She's back to savior magic. Her savior magic is intact.
There is a mention that in the initial arrival in the underworld, anyone who's dealing with magic is shaken a little bit, but Emma sinks into her pretty quick. So she's back into true savior Emma form in terms of magic pretty quickly."
Meanwhile, executive producer Adam Horowitz discussed to Entertainment Weekly about their version of Hades (Greg Germann) in "Once Upon A Time" Season 5. Horowitz assured that the fans are going to meet a slightly different kind of Hades in the 2nd part of the season.
Horowitz also revealed that he is both inspired by a myth and by the Disney movie version. With that being said, he production team are trying to create their own Once Upon A Time spin-off.
