The Flash season 2 spoilers: Geomancer wreaks havoc, another speedster appears, and Lex Luthor guest stars?

By

The Flash continues to push the envelope with its teasers for the upcoming midseason that starts on January 2016 leaving fans high with excited anticipation. Rumors, confirmed studio reports, and interviews with the stars point to the arrival of the earthquake-inducing villain Geomancer, the creation of another speedster Trajectory, and a possible guest stint by DC's main archenemy Lex Luthor.

Actor Adam Stafford has already been cast as Geomancer, according to Unreality TV. Stafford will play Adam Fells in a two-part episode that will see him pit his ability against Barry Allen's Flash. Geomancer is one of the more popular villains in DC Comics because of his fearsome power to literally cause tremors in the ground, shattering buildings and shaking up entire landscapes. As he draws out the Flash in open combat, viewers will be watching to see if the speedster's faster-than-sound running will be quick enough to stop all that damage from happening as soon as it breaks out.

Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) won't be the only speedster doing the running in Earth 1. Comicbook reports that Trajectory aka Eliza Harmon will enter the fray. The site speculates that she is a volunteer for Harrison Welles' (Tom Cavanagh) speedster formula, as Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears) refuses to take it. Unlike Barry, though, she may not be totally on the side of the angels, instead sporting a 'Jekyll-and-Hyde' mentality. Maybe that's because in the DC comic book, Trajectory is a creation of billionaire industrialist Lex Luthor who has found a way to bring out the metahuman gene among suspecting civilians.

Which brings us to the one major teaser cited by Christian Post that is making the fans go crazy. Nothing is confirmed yet, but fans are hoping that Trajectory's emergence will lead to Luthor himself showing up in Central City.

The Flash returns on January 2016 to the CW.
