The second highest grossing film of the year, 'Jurassic World', is officially getting a sequel. 'Jurassic World 2' is set and its cast and plot is in the works.
Rumors surround the upcoming sequel of one of the most successful movies of all time. According to Crossmap, even though the movie will be released in 2018, spoilers are surfacing on the internet. Both lead characters of the first film are returning for the sequel, Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are confirmed to reprise their roles as Owen Grady and Claire Dearing, respectively. Colin Treverrow will produce and write the film alongside Derek Conolly. Colin Treverrow stated that the upcoming movie will center on the co-existence among humans and dinosaurs.
Movie News Guide confirmed what Parent Herald said about "Jurassic World 2" writer Colin Trevorrow. They confirmed that he would not be directing more "Jurassic World" sequels but admitted to being part of "Jurassic World" Universe. Trevorrow also explored the plan for "Jurassic World 2" saying it will be different from the first one. Dinosaurs and man were separated by 65 million years of evolution and will be living together again after all those years. Nobody knows what is going to happen so it will be exciting.
Trevorrow also talked about Claire Dearing as a character. TheBitbag reported that writer-producer Trevorrow said, Claire's story is the one that shows how the world is gradually changing. He added that Bryce Dallas Howard's character is the one who evolves the most over the trilogy.
It was also said that the viewers might finally see the veociraptors used as a military weapon in the film. Also, more gossip for the upcoming "Jurassic World 2" is that it seems like Dr. Henry Wu will make the creation of dinosaurs accessible for the public. This could result to more dino-creators in the future 'Jurassic World 2'.
