Christmas, everyone’s favorite day of the year, is just around the corner. To make sure your yuletide celebrations are well-spent, we’ve rounded up a list of holiday-themed episodes of TV shows airing this coming week. On Monday, Dec. 21, tune-in to CBS for a hilarious episode of The Big Bang Theory. Titled “The Clean Room Infiltration”, the half-hour episode will find Amy throwing a Victorian-themed Christmas party for the gang. SpoilerTV has shared the synopsis.
Things will even get more interesting when Sheldon acts out his revenge plan against Amy for making him celebrate the holidays. Meanwhile, Leonard and Wolowitz are faced with a work emergency. Expectedly, Raj will come to their rescue. Guest starring on this episode is Brian George as Dr. Koothrapalli.
ABC will also offer Holiday-themed episodes this week. The Middle and Modern Family will air encores of “Not So Silent Night” and “White Christmas”, respectively beginning at 8PM.
The Heck family will skip one of their family traditions in “Not So Silent Night”. Per the synopsis shared by The Futon Critic, Frankie decides to skip going to church for their yearly Christmas eve service due to their repeated late arrival. As a resolution, viewers will find the family watching the service on their TV screen instead. However, unexpected string of events will make the Heck’s evening anything but peaceful nor silent.
Later, catch up with the Dunphy and Pritchett families as they celebrate their Christmas in a cabin.
According to the synopsis released by the network, viewers will find Gloria and the gang on a cabin in the mountains for a holiday celebration. However, there will be conflicts along the way. When the family arrives, they meet an uninvited guest who’s already staying in the cabin. The weather, apparently, will also come into play.
Mitch and Cam’s agenda this year is to make up for their bad caroling production from last year’s. Haley and Andy, meanwhile, will be preoccupied with their intimate relationship. And Claire is caught off guard when Jay makes a huge announcement.
“White Christmas” features the guest appearance of Tony Award Winner Andrea Martin as Fig.
