Awesome news for avid fans of Nvidia GeForce as the specs of a new GPU card have been leaked online.

KDramaStars reported that the specs of the much-awaited GTX 980 Ti have recently been leaked online and rumors revealed that an earlier release date may be possible following the leak.

According to the site, John Sutton of GameDebate claimed that the new GTX 980 Ti will be 50% faster than the GTX 980 and the Titan Black.

"Initial specs (of the GTX 980 Ti) put this monstrous Maxwell-powered graphics card at roughly 50% more powerful than the GTX Titan Black," Sutton reported.

He added, "That's some serious power under the hood, but where does it all come from? Firstly, the GM200 GPU will be on a 551mm2 die, with an estimated 20-22 Streaming Multiprocessors Maxwell (SMM) giving a total of between 2560 and 2816 CUDA cores. This will all be on a 384-bit memory bus, up from the 256-bit bus seen on the GeForce GTX 980 and the GeForce GTX 970."

"In total this makes the theoretical performance of the GeForce GTX 980 around 50% faster than the GTX Titan Black, so if these specs are true then we've got one heck of a powerful card," he concluded.

In a review published online by Game Debate, the site reported that the GTX 980 Ti has a large L2 Cache and a Third Generation Delta Color Compression. According to the report, this allows "small memory data transfer rates without causing too much impact on the overall performance."

Aside from this, there is also an addition of the VXGI (Voxel Global Illumination) that makes graphics more lifelike and the MFAA technology which provides the same effect as MSAA but at a much lower performance cost.

In a report by KPopStars, the site revealed of the rumors that the new card will be released next month instead of the reported February 2015 launch.

However, there has been no official confirmation from Nvidia about their upcoming GPUs.
