Jordan recently banned the popular yet controversial rock band Mashrou’ Leila, otherwise known as Leila’s Project, from performing at the Roman Amphitheater in Amman on April 29. Authorities were prompted to withdraw their authorization to play with concerns over the band’s songs, which were deemed contradictory to religious beliefs.
German government has approved €1.2 billion subsidy in the sale electric cars on Tuesday. The approval appears with signing an agreement by the senior government officials with the CEOs of electric car producing companies. Chancellor Angela Markel has chaired the meeting and the agreement has been reached on condition of equally sharing the required subsidy fund by the two parties.
