Rob Benedict and Jim Beaver are confirmed to return to reprise their roles as Chuck Shurley and Bobby Singer in "Supernatural" Season 11. Aside from that, The CW has released the official plot description for episode 15 'Beyond the Mat'.
Cast member Rob Benedict officially signs in to return to "Supernatural" Season 11. According to Christian Post, the 45-year-old American stage, film, and TV actor will reprise his role as Chuck Shurley. Shurley happens to be the author who writes about the biography of Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles). Benedict's character who last appeared in the end of the previous season will reappear in the 20th episode.
In addition, Jim Beaver will appear in the upcoming episode 16 of The CW series by means of flashbacks. The 66-year-old American actor and screenwriter will reprise his role as the Winchester brothers' beloved father figure, Bobby Singer. Beaver's character was last seen in the 'Inside Man' episode of Season 10 giving some help from Heaven, TV Line has cited.
As for the official plot of episode 15, Spoilers Guide notes, "Dean seen an obituary notice for a wrestler he and Sam used to watch, they decide to attend the funeral to pay their respects. The funeral is full of wrestlers, including Shawn Harley, a new wrestler with a fiery temper who pushes everyone's buttons, and veteran wrestler Gunner Lawless. Sam and Dean attend the next match to re-live their childhood memories but when another wrestler turns up dead, play time quickly turns to work."
"Supernatural" Season 11 Episode 15 is entitled as "Beyond the Mat". The forthcoming episode is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at 9:00 p.m. exclusively on The CW.
