President Donald Trump has announced his plans of changing his immigration laws that would allow undocumented immigrants to finally obtain legal status and reside, work and pay taxes in the US.

The U.S. law that distinguishes a federal crime from a civil law violation says that "undocumented immigrants" may not actually be committing criminal offenses, in contrast to what President Trump says.

New Mexico's legislators have approved House Bill 99 which will require the state's driver's licenses to be Real ID-compliant, but will continue to grant driving privileges to undcoumented immigrants.
