Shellie Zimmerman, the wife of the former neighborhood watch captain acquitted in the February 2012 shooting death of Florida teenager Trayvon Martin, pleaded guilty on Wednesday morning to a misdemeanor charge of perjury in a plea deal. She was sentenced to serve one year of probation under the deal, which was set up so that she would avoid any sort of a felony conviction
