The European Commission is preparing to challenge a French taxi law after Uber complained. Uber says France's Thevenoud law, which requires chauffeured cars to return to base between fares, bans use of software to find customers and unlicensed services, discriminates against the ride-sharing service.

Salah Abdeslam, 26 years old who was held in Belgium, will be extradited to France. Brussels court granted the extradition request on Thursday. Abdeslam, is one of the 10 suspects for the Paris terror attacks, killing 130 people on November 13, 2015.
The French data protection authority claimed that it has fined Alphabet Inc.'s Google 100,000 euros. The company allegedly did not scrub web search results widely enough in response to a European privacy ruling.
