U.S. fast-food workers protest over pay, hundreds arrested
U.S. fast-food workers staged protests in some 150 cities on Thursday in a fight for higher pay, and organizers said more than 450 were arrested from Manhattan's Times Square to Los Angeles.

Six people were killed and 22 wounded in new gun violence that hit Chicago over Memorial Day weekend, UPI reported. On Friday evening, a 17-year-old girl was shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene, and 18-year-old man was shot in the chest in the same incident.
