Inmates Gunasegar Pitchaymuthu, 35, Ramesh Jayakumar, 34, and his brother Sasivarnam Jayakumar, 37, found guilty of murdering a man in 2005 were executed.The representing attorney for the three said, the execution were carried out on Monday morning.
Amid protests from Amnesty International and human rights group, deportation of the Syrian refugees seeking asylum from Russia was halted. The reprieve has been issued after the European Court of Human Rights issued an emergency ban.
