The rumor mill has been grinding for couple Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher. Amidst the excitement for the welcoming of their first child, new reports revealed that there is trouble in the couple's paradise.
According to Classicalite, pregnant Underwood is starting to resent her husband following rumors that the father-to-be is not making an effort in aiding the singer in her household responsibilities.
The site reported that a source claimed in "Star" magazine's November 3 issue that Underwood is getting stressed over the duties that she needs to fulfill.
"Carrie has always done the cooking, cleaning, and laundry. But, it has been harder for her to keep up since she got pregnant. She gets bouts of morning sickness and is tired a lot of the time. Carrie constantly asks Mike to help out more, but he is oblivious to it. It's gotten to the point where she is starting to resent him, and the stress isn't good for the baby," the insider revealed.
This came as a surprise to many as her pregnancy was said to be the savior of their marriage. Over a year ago, reports claimed that trouble is brewing between the couple after Underwood allegedly refused to stall her career for nine months to give them a child.
Fortunately, the singer announced last September that she is expecting their first child.
However, despite the rumors that surround their marriage, Underwood and Fisher still paint a picture of a perfect couple.
"It's still kind of weird to be honest. Sometimes I'll be with my husband and I'm like, 'I'm going to be a mom. You're going to be a dad. Like, is this real life?' But we're really excited," the singer shared as per quoted by Fashion & Style.
Meanwhile, the professional athlete also portrays an image of an expectant father. "We're obviously really excited, can't wait for it to happen. It will be a cool stage of our lives," said Fisher.
