Professional wrestler CM Punk is reported to return to WWE after walking out last January

By

Rumors are circulating online that wrestler Chick Magnet or CM Punk is returning in the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

This was months after the wrestler walked out of the franchise last January, leaving fans baffled and confused.

CM Punk, or Philip Jack "Phil" Brooks in real life, left the league without consent, not finishing his contract which should have been up to July 2014.

Although CM Punk did not reveal anything about his leaving, sources close to him spilled that the wrestler was no longer happy with what he was doing.

In a podcast interview with Paul Heyman, one of Punk's closest friends, revealed this as per report from KpopStars.

"He couldn't take it anymore. A year before he walked, there was daily conversations of, 'I don't think I'm going to be able to take this. I'm not sure how much longer I'm going to be here. I don't know how much longer it's going to be before I just decided to go home.' I'm surprised it lasted that long," said Heyman.

According to Give Me Sport, CM Punk's anger towards WWE started when he was defeated by part-time wrestling superstar Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Rumors suggest that Punk was angry at WWE's decision to always succumb to the demands of part-time wrestlers.

Meanwhile, WWE is reported to have issued the professional wrestler a 21-pages lawsuit because of not finishing his contract.

CM Punk, on the other hand, is also allegedly filing a case against the league because WWE used his image in the video game "WWE2K15."

Although rumors of CM Punk's return has been spreading wildly on the Internet, some are seeing his return as nothing but a promotional campaign for new wrestler Sting's WWE debut. According to KpopStars, speculations are up that Punk will be taking on a role of "party crasher" on the debut episode.

Both CM Punk and WWE have not given any confirmation on the reports, but fans are still hoping that the former champion will return back on the ring.
