A Pennsylvania teen who police say stalked his neighbor and claimed to have murdered 20 women is now facing several criminal charges.
Dylan Bish, 19, was charged with making terroristic threats, stalking, and harassment. The harassment began with a note left on the victim's front door in November 2024 and February 2025.
The first note had the victim's name and an unknown phone number on it. The February note "contained concerning desires, some even stating that he wanted to 'dismember' her body with a chainsaw, and also stated sexual desires with her corpse," Koppel Borough Police stated.
Police turned the notes over to the Pennsylvania State Crime Lab for analysis. They also attempted to text with the number that had been left on the first note.
They received a response, which included the victim's name and a claim that the person had "killed 20 women and she is his next victim. The text continue[s] to give gory details of how he wished to smash her skull and multiple other homicidal ideations," police stated.
Koppel Borough Police eventually identified Bish as a suspect, and during an interview, he confessed to writing the notes and the text messages.
According to police, Bish discussed "his obsession with the victim and began to state that he is not going to stop his obsession until she is 'dead.'"
Police said that Bish also described in detail how he wished to dismember her this summer in the woods. He also told police that he is attending Salem University in West Virginia for criminal justice in Forensic science for the sole reason of understanding how the police and FBI operate so that "he will never get 'caught.'"
Bish also shared a desire for cannibalism, according to police.
Bish was arrested and taken to Beaver County jail where he is being held on $1 million bond. The magistrate added a condition that Bish have an extensive mental health evaluation prior to any release.
