A tragic hit-and-run in Riverside, California, left pregnant 16-year-old Kaylie Corona dead and her baby fighting for life after a confrontation over the suspect's relationship with her underage sister, authorities said.
Authorities arrested 19-year-old Isaac Blackhorse Garcia of Moreno Valley for murder after locating his car.
Police rushed to the scene after reports of a hit-and-run late Sunday night and found Corona severely injured. Blackhorse Garcia had allegedly already fled the scene.
Corona was taken to the hospital but did not survive. Doctors delivered her baby, who remains in critical condition, according to police.
Blackhorse Garcia had allegedly been in a "sexual relationship" with Corona's younger 15-year-old sister and had just dropped her off when family members confronted him. As tensions escalated, he allegedly sped away and hit Corona with his car, per police.
A neighbor's doorbell camera captured the harrowing screams of the victim's family in the moments after the crash.

"We saw a girl that was right on the street, just laying flat," neighbor Miriam Betamen, who rushed to call 911, told local news.
On Tuesday, family and friends held a candlelight vigil to mourn the young mother and pray for her newborn.
"I was just praying that she would be OK, and then when I found out she passed away, it was just so devastating," Betamen said.
"Our girl was more than just a teenager—she was a radiant light in our lives. She was a caring, loving, and joyful soul whose presence touched everyone she met. She had so many dreams, so many moments ahead of her, and in the blink of an eye, all of that was stolen," Corona's family wrote on their GoFundMe.
Blackhorse Garcia is behind bars at Robert Presley Detention Center on charges of murder, hit-and-run resulting in death, and unlawful sex with a minor. He is being held without bail.
Police suspect "there may be other minors whom Isaac Blackhorse Garcia contacted and sexually abused." They're asking anyone with information to come forward.
