Tennessee man allegedly shot at an Instacart driver who turned out to be his ex-girlfriend's husband, according to authorities.

Darien Williams, 32, has been charged with aggravated assault after police say he opened fire on an Instacart delivery driver on February 6, WREG-3 reported. The Instacart driver told police that when he pulled up to the house, he recognized it and immediately attempted to cancel the order.

However, the driver told police that Williams exited the home and fired the shot, the station reported. The driver told police he took off and, once away from the residence, called the police.

Williams admitted he owned a gun but denied firing it at the driver. The delivery driver was able to pick Williams out of a lineup.

Instacart is a grocery delivery service. When an order is placed, a shopper can take the order and delivers the groceries. The person making the order does not know who will make the delivery, and the delivery driver also does not know who made the order.
