An Ohio man has been charged in a mass shooting at a warehouse that left one dead and five injured.

Bruce Reginald Foster III, 28, is being held on a charge of aggravated murder, NBC-4 reported. The shooting occurred at the KDC/ONE cosmetics warehouse in New Albany around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

"This has been a very tragic situation," New Albany Police Chief Greg Jones told NBC-4. "This is something that we hope that would never happen in our community. But we prepare for it, and this is where we are now."

The station reported that numerous people were escorted out of the building. There were about 150 people on the premises at the time of the shooting.

Police stated in a press conference Wednesday morning that Foster worked at the warehouse and had been there for a while before the shooting occurred. Police described the incident as a "targeted attack," the Cincinnati Enquirer reported. Police recovered a handgun at the scene but have not determined a motive for the shooting. All of the victims worked at KDC/ONE.

After the shooting, Foster fled the scene and may have gotten a ride, the newspaper reported. Police do not believe the person who gave him a ride was involved in the shooting.

Police arrested Foster around 10 a.m. Wednesday at an address in Columbus, NBC-4 reported. Prosecutors have recommended a bond of $20 million.
