A registered sex offender with sex-related convictions dating back three decades was seen "skipping and dancing" moments after allegedly molesting a 14-year-old girl on the boardwalk in Miami Beach, according to a report.

Rasheed Armahd Jones, 49, reached "out his hand and brushed her buttocks in an intentional and lewd manner" as he walked by the girl and her mother Monday evening on the boardwalk in South Beach, WPLG reported, citing the police report.

The young girl told police that she then looked at Jones, who "held his finger to his mouth indicating to her to stay quiet," the report said.

The teen told her mom, who noticed Jones walking by, and confronted him before he fled south on the boardwalk.

He was seen on surveillance cameras, which also captured the crime, "skipping and dancing, apparently celebrating his actions," the report said.

Jones, who was convicted of a number of sexual crimes in South Carolina going back to 1995, was charged with felony lewd and lascivious molestation, the station reported.

Jones, who is registered as a transient sex offender in Florida, is being held on $25,000 bond in the Metrowest Detention Center.
