Authorities in Anaheim, California are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found inside a vehicle in a neighborhood near Disneyland on Sunday night.

Police responded to reports of gunfire around 8:45 p.m. and discovered 25-year-old Kenneth Wayne Swets with at least one gunshot wound. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene, KTLA 5 reported.

The area was cordoned off as investigators searched for evidence near a gray sedan. Police have not yet determined whether Swets was in his own vehicle or someone else's. No suspects or motive have been identified.

Kathryn Kelly, who claims to be Swets neighbor, described hearing several "booms" she recognized as gunshots and described Swets as a "super good young man" from a "wonderful family."

The shooting occurred in a residential area west of the Anaheim Convention Center and southwest of Disneyland. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact Anaheim police.
