Captain America 3 writer Rick Remender LEAKS secrets to Marvel: Character dynamics of the Black Captain; insights to his super powers, battles with Batman and Robin, and more

The new Marvel film will not be centered on the original Captain America image but rather a fresher version of Batman and Robin team up. Not only does the Captain lose his white costume to a black falcon winged one but the actual start, Chris Evan, won't be playing the part much.

Rick Remender, writer of Captain America, sat down with Marvel.com for an interview on how things for the sequel to go through on its premiere this coming November. Remender shared that the new Captain America will not be seeing too much of the old soldier Steve Rogers. A cameo role will come to the captain as his friend, the Falcon, Sam Wilson will play as the new defender of America.

Looks like it, the story has taken into place where Steve Rogers' body no longer is fit to take on his duties and responsibilities as Captain America. This is so after having been drained of his super hero powers after meeting Iron Nail in a bottle. He then turned into an old man. Hence, the Captain's spirit in serving and keeping the peace is still burning yet an old man's body hinders him to do so. Instead, he sought the help of Sam Wilson to do the job for him. As the black winged Falcon keeps peace within the society, Roger's is behind him all the way with guidance and advices. Also, he teaches the Falcon few great moves of his own.

Remender also shared with Marvel that creating this new idea gives a fresher and fun look for Captain American. One good reason is that Sam Wilson is not a soldier, per se, so he is not as tight and very boring type of person like Steve. Secondly, he is living in the present, unlike Steve who is still clinging to the old ways.

Many have been wondering with such drastic and risky change of Captain America character may be linked to Chris Evan's decision to leave acting for good. According to Variety Magazine, Chris does love to direct films but by doing a project, like Captain America, he won't be able to fulfill what truly loves doing the most.
